Shopping day!

Ok so here I am at work again, writing on here, cause I'm bored. So I got up this morning and went to stand in line at circut city for 2.99 and 3.99 movies only to be disappointed by the selection. It seems to me that the ads indulge a small bit on what the selection actually will be, so after choosing several movies I joined a line at one of the checkout's only to be told that they were trying to merge the 3 lines into 1 large line. Everyone was yelling and saying they wouldn't let others "merge" in front of them. It was nuts. The whole line thing really should be something the store planned out ahead of time. Then it was off to Target to quickly get my friends camera while I waited for her and her husband to show I also grabbed double of all the good movies and when they showed up we just walked around paid and left. It was off to the craft store which was really where I picked up the largest amount of loot for the cheapest. I guess that's what happens when I decided to make something each year for my neices and nephews. Then the Bed Bath and Beyond to get my dehydrator!! YEAH!! Then it was off to the bookstore. I'm actually surprised that we didn't spend more time there. I was prepared to be there for a while, but I guess that was a good thing because the more time I would have spent there the more books I would have bought so I guess us not hanging out there was a good thing. Then last but not least on to the family christian store, where I bought the movie Amazing Grace & The List. Then it was home to bed for a few hours then some cleaning and now I'm at work. Ok so this was a long post, but I guess since I'm new at this some will be short some will be long!

Pies are baking (update)

So I'm just learning the in's and out's of this thing and have finally figured out how to post a picture of the pies that I baked yesterday. I took them to my parents, got a picture of them, and we dove in. Boy were they good, if I must say so myself. So I guess I'll see if this works!

Thanksgiving work!

Ok so here I am sitting at work, blogging! My friend would be proud of me. Ok so it's Thanksgiving day, and I'm sitting in front of a computer screen watching my employee's transporting people to and from places. Don't know what else to say, except I'm very excited about early morning shopping tomorrow. I'll be one of the crazies standing in line outside of a store before dawn with a thermos of something warm. So Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today, and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

Pies are baking

Ok so the pecan pies are baking and again I'm watching more christmas movies. Feeling a little better, but still sick. I have to work today, yuck, but I guess I don't have a choice if I'm going to pay bills next month and go shopping on the friday after Thanksgiving. Yes that's right, I'm one of the nutty people that get in line super early and hope to be one of the first few people in the stores doors, and all just to buy cheap movies. So I guess, Best Buy here I come @ 0415, then over to Target, Micheals, and Borders. Yeah, hopefully christmas presents will be easier to come by this year and cheaper. Ok signing of for now, I might be back later.

I'm really here!

Ok so my friend just "reminded" me that I haven't been blogging so I guess this will be my first one. I'm sitting at home sick trying to make a soft boiled egg to eat and watching christmas shows on TV. Then my one outing for the day will be to the grocery store. Woo-Hoo! I have a really boring life. Oh well. Ok so I'm finally off of school for the week and of course it always happens that I'm sick on my breaks. Well that was a little rambly, but at least I wrote here. So more later!
