Working again!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did. I spend Christmas Eve with my family, it was a very busy day, but paid off in the end. Then Christmas day I worked 6am-6pm and when I got off work was able to spend the evening with my parents and a few friends of mine. They got me an awesome yarn tote bag and storage unit along with some books and other fun stuff. I'll have to post a pic of it on here later. Thank you so much guys, it will definitly help me get my yarn out of shopping bags and into a nice place. So here I am again at work. There was a sick call tonight, so being the sucker I am and hurting for money now, I decided what the hell, I get paid holiday pay and OT to sit on my butt, watch movies, read, knit and play computer games. So basically I'm doing the same thing I would be doing at home just getting paid for it. Well I hope everyone has a wonderful evening.

Working!

Ok so here I sit, at work, waiting for our tones to go off so we can go on a call. We've had 2 calls so far neither one of them were really any "good". The first was a vehicle roll over, the truck was smashed, but the kid got out ok with just a few cuts and scraps on the legs, the second was a guy who might have been drinking but he refused to go to the hospital too, so we went and played for a short while and then came back to sit. Ok so finished the second New Moon a few days ago and am on the third book and really am enjoying it. I'm half was done with my nephew's blanket for christmas, it's down to the wire so I should probably get off the computer and get back to knitting.

Twilight!

Ok so I'll keep this short and sweet because I'm exhausted and ready for bed. I just got home a little bit ago from going to see Twilight with my friend Joe. It was a great movie, I just wish it had followed the book a little closer. Also I had a problem with the actor they chose as Edward. I thought they could have chosen someone better looking, but I guess since it is a teen movie, they have to gear toward that audience. Ok but over all great movie. I'm almost done with the 2nd book and have the last 2 to read this weekend. I'll update on those later.

The Dressed Tree

Ok so its now time for me to get in the holiday spirit and decorate my tree. I went to the store today and got all my baking stuff to make cookies, which is my favorite thing to do! As I was sitting here watching christmas movies I decided it was about time to get my butt in gear decorate and get baking. So here's my tree, my favorite pink snowman, and the lonely stocking on my fireplace. I think I'm finally starting to feel the holiday spirit, it helps that finals are over too!

after the nervous breakdown and tree update

Ok so last night I think I had a mental breakdown, thank you Joe for letting me yell (in CAPS) over IM to you. I bet you laughed at that one, and for letting me tell you I ate a whole pizza to myself. Damn I'm a pig. But after my water heater leaking on friday and my heat going out sat night, I guess I needed a whole pizza to myself. Ok so after realizing that I couldn't really learn anything new for my finals and I could only review I relaxed and watched some TV. I know I know, I should have been studying, but it just didn't work out. So I went to sleep, woke up early and reviewed, and I think I actually did ok on today's test. 3 more to go tomorrow and I'm done, then it's off to see Twilight friday night!

Ok so about the tree. It is still naked, but very pretty. As soon as these damn tests are done I'll decorate it. So as soon as it is decorated with a few gifts under it (which I need to go buy), I'll get another picture up.

christmas tree set-up--phase 1

Ok so last night my mom came over and helped bring my tree in from my porch and it's a beautiful tree. Thanks to Joe and Max who picked out the tree. I haven't forgotten to pay you back Joe, just gotta wait till pay day again. Ok so here's the naked tree in all it's glory. I'm hoping to decorate either tonight or tomorrow, just depends on how late I get home from class tonight. I'll update again with a dressed tree picture soon.

Thursday cancellation

Ok so last night ended up not working out. I was feeling yucky and decided to stay home and clean and go to bed early. Oh yeah I read. I'm on the last book of the city of ember series and I cant wait to see what happens in the end. I bet Helga can't wait for me to finish either because then I guess it's on to Twilight.

Thursday taco's

Yeah so it's Thursday night and I'm finally getting a chance to go out to happy hour with a friend. It's been a while since I've been out to happy hour, but now is the chance. So with only 1 week left till finals I'm trying my best to stay calm and study as hard as possible. In addition to studying for finals, I also have to do crafts for my nieces and nephew's x-mas presents, but I'm also trying to finish the City of Ember series. I'm really enjoying it and have decided to get the book series as a gift for my niece. I think she'd really like it so I made the decision. Ok well I better get back to cleaning and TV since I can't have a girls knitting night on Sat night without a clean house!
